Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services of Cocoo Division of Ndlovukazi Trading Services ("Cocoo," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our furniture rental and sales services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all rental agreements and sales transactions for furniture provided by Cocoo.

2. Rental Agreements

Rental Period: The rental period will be as agreed upon by both parties. Early returns may not result in a refund of rental fees.

Rental Fees: Rental fees are payable in advance for the agreed-upon rental period.

Care of Furniture: You are responsible for the care and proper use of the rented furniture. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will be your responsibility, and repair or replacement costs may be charged.

Return of Furniture: Furniture must be returned in the same condition as it was received, subject to normal wear and tear, by the agreed-upon return date. Late returns may incur additional charges.

Loss or Theft: You are responsible for the full replacement cost of any rented furniture that is lost or stolen while in your possession.

3. Sales Transactions

Pricing: All prices for furniture sales are as displayed or quoted by Cocoo and are subject to change without prior notice.

Payment: Full payment is required for all furniture sales prior to delivery or collection, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Ownership: Ownership of the furniture transfers to you upon full payment.

Returns and Refunds: Sales are generally considered final. Returns and refunds are at the sole discretion of Cocoo and may be subject to a restocking fee.

Pre-Orders: A three-month period is required for pre-orders to be fulfilled. An order is considered accepted once a 50% deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due upon notification that the pre-order is ready for delivery or collection.

4. Deposits

Rental Deposit: A security deposit may be required for furniture rentals, which will be refunded upon the satisfactory return of the furniture, less any deductions for damages or outstanding fees.

Sales Deposit: For pre-orders, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the order. This deposit is non-refundable if you cancel the pre-order after it has been accepted and processed.

5. Delivery and Collection

Delivery Fees: Delivery and collection fees may apply and will be quoted separately.

Access: You are responsible for ensuring adequate access to the delivery location. Any delays or additional costs incurred due to insufficient access will be your responsibility.

Inspection: You are encouraged to inspect all furniture upon delivery or collection. Any damages or discrepancies must be reported to Cocoo immediately.

6. Limitation of Liability

Cocoo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our furniture or services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant furniture or service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

8. Amendments

Cocoo reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website or upon request.
